It is the unofficial holiday for Star Wars fans all across the world – May the fourth, or, “May The Fourth Be With You,” as a pun on the infamous line spoken by numerous figures across the Star Wars universe.

Retailers have taken this holiday as a chance to offer some sweet deals on Star Wars branded items.

Microsoft – Up to 67% off licensed Star Wars games for Xbox One

Humble Store – Star Wars Day sale, offering 65% off Star Wars PC games

Steam – Star Wars Battlefront deal, as well as the Star Wars Complete Collect, including 26 classic Star Wars games for $84.57, 71% off MSRP

Since 1979, May 4th has been designated as “Star Wars Day” by fans around the world, and famous figures from the Star Wars franchise have all taken this day to wish everyone a happy Star Wars Day, including, from another universe, Captain James Tiberius Kirk (William Shatner) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) himself.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the ninth installment of the main Star Wars films is set to be released on December 20th this year, as a sequel to 2017’s The Last Jedi and set to be the final film of the Skywalker story.
