As of today, Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame” has become the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time (behind James Cameron’s “Avatar”) surpassing $2 billion in box office earnings after just 11 days in theaters, as of now hitting $2.189 billion.

This is the first time in box office history that a film has earned so much money in such a short amount of time. “Avengers: Infinity War” had taken 11 days to earn $1 billion, a feat “Endgame” has more than doubled within the same period.

“Endgame” is number 1 in all international markets except for Japan, leading in China with $576 million, $89.9 million in the U.K., $82.1 million in South Korea, $61.6 million in Mexico, $56.3 million in Brazil, $52 million in India, $47.4 million in Germany, $46.2 million in Australia, $43.1 million in France, and $34.4 million in Japan.

“Endgame” is currently just under $600 million from besting “Avatar” whose box office earnings rest at $2.787 billion and has surpassed “Titanic” to become the number 2 movie in the world.
